Opt outside and join us in the trees for an unforgettable treetop adventure. The Treetop Zipline Adventure at Ijams Nature Center provides opportunities for avid aerial trekkers and first- timers to soar from tree to tree on zip lines, explore the forest from a whole new perspective, cross wobbly bridges, balance, climb, swing and tackle more than 60 adventure elements.
Your Treetop Zipline Adventure begins with outfitting, followed by a safety briefing and orientation to the equipment and systems. Then, it’s off to the Tree House, your launchpad to our six adventure trails. The trails are color-coded according to difficulty (rated easy to extreme), and each includes 10-12 challenge elements. You’ll have 2.0 hours to experience as many trails as you like. At the end of each trail, you’ll return to the Tree House and have the option to choose your next adventure. Challenge yourself to conquer all six adventure trails, or repeat your favorite as many times as possible. It’s up to you!
Guests wear full-body harnesses equipped with a zip line trolley and smart-belay lanyards that keep them constantly connected to overhead cables while on the course. Navitat Knoxville staff monitor participant progress, offering coaching and ongoing support as needed.

Our hours of operation for walk-in visits depend on the weather and our reservations for that day. In order to guarantee your adventure experience, we highly recommend that you purchase tickets in advance.

Navitat operates rain or shine, and guests regularly report that participating in the rain is a BLAST! Navitat continues to operate as long as the weather is not considered threatening.
In the event of severe weather, such as lightning or sustained high winds, Navitat may choose to close or put guests on standby. Advance notice may not be possible. If your pre-booked experience is canceled because of severe weather, Navitat will offer a rain check or a full refund. Should severe weather occur while you are on the course, Navitat may discontinue your experience. Discontinued experiences are offered a full or partial refund based on the amount of time remaining on your ticket.
Navitat Knoxville allows cancellations and changes to reservations up to 24 hours prior to the tour time. Reservations cancelled more than 24 hours in advance of the tour time will be issued a refund minus the 6% credit card processing fee. You must speak with a Navitat Reservations Agent during regular business hours to cancel or reschedule. You can reach us at 855-628-4828. Cancellation insurance can be purchased at check-out.
